Cleantech Forum Past Events

Delegates representing the global leaders in Cleantech, convened for the premier Cleantech Forum in India, New Delhi on 10th and 11th of July.

The two day forum, which was held at The Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi, bringing together key political leaders, Cleantech industry leaders, local government, investors, technology companies and others to discuss "Cleantech Solutions: Financing the Technological Innovation for Sustainable Development in India. India represents the fastest growing market for Cleantech solutions and technology transfers."

Over 30 of the worlds experts and leaders in Cleantech presented vital market knowledge and opportunities for Cleantech in India. Over 350 delegates attended the 2nd India Cleantech Forum.

When Cleantech industry leaders gather in the one place, you can be sure their is going to be riveting discussion, hefty debate, and some clear directives for the following year. August 3rd 2008. The Maurya Sheraton Hotel, Over 300 Cleantech Industry pioneers attended the 1st India Cleantech Forum. It was obvious from the outset that the opportunities and demand for Cleantech in India represented a pivotal moment in economic history. This fact was eloquently detailed by the opening speakers Shyam Bang, Executive Director, Jubilant Organosys Ltd and Mr. Uday Khemka, Vice Chairman, SUN Group of companies, hailing Cleantech as a necessary Industry with great mid term prospects. Uday further explained how Cleantech is the key for energy, health and water security in India.

Over 230 people attended the 3rd AustralAsian Cleantech Forum hailed as a great success with Cleantech clearly being recognised as a new industry in Australia. A consistent message from finance, investment, technology businesses and government at all levels was that we are at turning point when we can channel and mobilise capital as well as galvanise our collective efforts for investment and growth of clean technologies that can generate solid financial and environmental returns which are essential for sustainable development.

Over 160 key decision makers from finance, investment and cleantech companies heard why Australia is poised to be a leader in Cleantech and how to capitalise on the global market demand and opportunity.
